The company has reportedly also been in talks with its flight attendants union and mechanics union.

US-based airline Comair was expected to meet with its pilots over the weekend (30 September-1 October) in an attempt to agree on concessions that the carrier considers necessary.

The company has reportedly also been in talks with its flight attendants union and mechanics union. According to The Associated Press, the airline president was concerned on 28 September that there had been no talks set before Monday (2 October) as Comair has to submit bids to its parent airline Delta Air Lines regarding regional service.

Kate Marx, a spokeswoman for the airline, said that the negotiations with the unions and completion of the restructuring take precedence above all else.
