WHS and GATS Form Training Alliance

Worldwide Helicopter Solutions, LLC and Global Avionics Training Specialists, LLC have formed an alliance to provide on-site training services for both the helicopter and fixed-wing industries to include operators, OEMs, completion centers and repair stations.

PHOENIX, ARIZONA – October 6, 2006 – Worldwide Helicopter Solutions, LLC and Global Avionics Training Specialists, LLC have formed an alliance to provide on-site training services for both the helicopter and fixed-wing industries to include operators, OEMs, completion centers and repair stations. This alliance brings training on-demand, when and where required, bringing significant savings in time and money spent in the learning process.

Worldwide Helicopter Solutions (WHS) specializes in on-site training for Sperry/Honeywell helicopter avionics systems including all SHZ and SPZ flight control systems, EDZ EFIS, weather radar and comm/nav installed on Agusta-Westland, Bell, Eurocopter, Mil-Kazan and Sikorsky. WHS has been providing training, tech support and other services since 2002.

Global Avionics Training Specialists (GATS) was launched earlier this year and specializes in on-site training for Sperry/Honeywell fixed-wing systems that currently include the SPZ-500, 650 and 8000 found on bizjets such as Canadair Challenger, Cessna Citation, Falconjet, Gulfstream and Hawker. They also provide training on Boeing 747, 757, 767, 777 and MD-80/90 airliners.

Both companies' courses are FAA qualified for Inspection Authorization Renewal and the Aviation Maintenance Technician awards program.
