Goodrich Executive Appointed Chairman of the GAMA Board for 2007

John Grisik, Executive Vice President, Operational Excellence and Technology for Goodrich Corporation, has been appointed Chairman of the board of directors of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) for 2007.

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- John Grisik, Executive Vice President, Operational Excellence and Technology for Goodrich Corporation (NYSE: GR) has been appointed Chairman of the board of directors of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) for 2007.

John previously served as our Vice Chairman and his broad base of experience across a variety of technologies, systems and services is a tremendous asset to our association."

Grisik, a 15-year Goodrich veteran, joined the company in 1991 as General Manager of Ice Protection Systems. He held various general management positions before being named Group President, Landing Systems in 2000 and Segment President, Airframe Systems in December 2002. He was named Segment President, Electronic Systems in June 2005 and appointed to his current post, Executive Vice President, Operational Excellence and Technology, in March of 2006. Before joining Goodrich, Grisik spent 22 years with General Electric primarily in the Aircraft Engine Group.

Dr. Grisik holds Bachelor, Master and Doctor of Science degrees in metallurgical engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and a Master's degree in Management from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He is also the inventor/co-inventor of nine U.S. patents.

Goodrich has been a member of GAMA since 1980.
