San Antonio, TX - November 20, 2006. Engine Components, Inc. (ECi) announced today that Bill Blackwood has been named Director of Quality Assurance for the Corporation and will report to ECi’s President and Chief Operating Officer, Ed Salmeron.
Since May 2005, Blackwood had served as Quality Assurance Manager for all of ECi’s manufacturing and repair operations in San Antonio, TX. Under his new title, Blackwood will continue many of his duties as QA Manager: oversight of all in-process and final inspection aspects of ECi’s operations as well as metrology, air safety and technical support. Additionally, he will have administrative responsibilities and serve as head of the Product Integrity Committee.
