Pratt & Whitney Canada Appoints ScanTech of Denmark as a Recognized Maintenance Facility for Scandinavia
As a P&WC RMF, ScanTech will provide customers with important maintenance support for the PT6A and JT15D series engines, equipped with complete heavy maintenance tool kits for on-site, on-wing hot section inspection and gearbox repairs.

Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp. (P&WC), a United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX) company, today appointed Scandinavian Aircraft Technologies (ScanTech) of Denmark as a Recognized Maintenance Facility (RMF) for its PT6A, JT15D and PW100 series engines.
"We are delighted that ScanTech is joining P&WC's growing service network in Europe," said Claude Lachapelle, Vice President, Commercial - Service Centres. "This experienced facility will offer customers of P&WC engines in Scandinavia with enhanced maintenance as well as greater access to P&WC's extensive parts and support network and large pool of rental engines."
As a P&WC RMF, ScanTech will provide customers with important maintenance support for the PT6A and JT15D series engines, equipped with complete heavy maintenance tool kits for on-site, on-wing hot section inspection and gearbox repairs. It will also provide borescope inspections for PW100 series engines, including the reduction gearbox, cold section, hot section and accessories.
ScanTech is a European Aviation Safety Agency Part 145-approved aircraft maintenance facility located at Sindal Airport, Denmark. As one of Europe's most experienced maintenance providers, ScanTech has specialized in the maintenance of P&WC engines for more than 25 years.
Pratt & Whitney Canada, based in Longueuil, Quebec, is a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines powering business, general aviation and regional aircraft, and helicopters.
