IBA Awarded 5-Year Aircraft Technical Contract from Export-Import Bank of the United States

It will provide aircraft inspections and airline oversight across its portfolio of commercial and corporate aircraft and helicopters.

IBA is one of three firms awarded a new 5-year contract by Ex-Im Bank, to provide aircraft inspections and airline oversight across its portfolio of commercial and corporate aircraft and helicopters. The award also covers the provision of aircraft appraisals and training services. IBA have now held this prestigious contract continuously for the past fifteen years.

The award, which has a maximum potential value of $1.2 Million, requires IBA:

• to visit airlines as directed by Ex-Im Bank

• to perform technical audits on, aircraft and records and

• complete operational performance reviews of airlines

• In the event of airline default or bankruptcy, IBA is also required to provide rapid response teams to manage Ex-Im’s interests and protect the aircraft.

As ISTAT Certified Appraisers, IBA is expertly qualified to support Ex-Im Bank’s requirements for aircraft valuations covering all US-manufactured commercial and corporate aircraft and helicopters as well as engines and spare parts.
