Spotlight will be the King Air products, the T-6 Texan, and the company’s Light Attack and Armed Reconnaissance aircraft, the AT-6.

WICHITA, Kan. (July 13, 2010) – Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) will highlight its military trainers and special mission aircraft at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) on July 16, followed by the Farnborough International Airshow, July 19-22 in the United Kingdom.

At the Royal International Air Tattoo, HBC will exhibit its AT-6 and T-6 single engine turboprop military trainers, as well as its new King Air 350i. The company will host guests at its chalet.

At Farnborough, HBC will exhibit its AT-6, T-6 and two variants of its venerable King Air twin-engine turboprop, including a King Air 350i and King Air C90GTx, in the static display area. The company will also display a flight inspection variant (FIS) of the King Air 350 and its flagship business jet, the Hawker 4000. The company will host guests at Chalet J3.

“These two events have traditionally been good venues for interacting with our government business and special mission customers,” said Jim Maslowski, HBC president, U.S. and International Government Business. “Our primary focus during the shows will be to spotlight our adaptable and durable King Air products, the world’s most versatile and efficient training platform, the T-6 Texan, and the company’s Light Attack and Armed Reconnaissance aircraft, the AT-6. We also look forward to highlighting how our Hawker 4000 can fulfill a number of VIP missions for our government customers.”

The Beechcraft T-6 offers military organizations worldwide the most proven and cost-effective training system available today. As a primary trainer aircraft, it accommodates instruction in instrument flight procedures and basic aerial maneuvers. To date, it has been used to train pilots in approximately 20 different countries. The AT-6 derivative is an affordable and capable multi-role, multi-mission aircraft system tailored for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance and light attack missions.

The King Air 350 FIS offers operators an ideal platform for flight inspection missions because of its stability at mission altitudes and speeds, and its low cost of operation. HBC aircraft are performing FIS operations on every continent in compliance with ICAO or FAA standards. The King Air 350 FIS can be fitted with equipment from various manufacturers to meet demanding flight inspection requirements – from portable systems to the most advanced, state-of-the-art global positioning system-compatible components.

The Hawker 4000 is the most advanced business jet in its category. With a 3,280-nautical-mile non-stop range and cruise speeds up to Mach 0.84, it features a sophisticated composite fuselage, all metal supercritical wing, powerful Pratt & Whitney Canada FADEC-controlled engines and state-of-the-art Honeywell Primus EPIC avionics.

Now equipped with the Rockwell Collins Venue™ cabin management system and state-of-the-art Beechcraft FlexCabin capability, the new King Air 350i sets the standard in cabin comfort, entertainment and flexibility while delivering unmatched fuel efficiency and the lowest operating cost per seat mile, making it one of the greenest aircraft available to business travelers today.

Also on display is the King Air C90GTx. Key enhancements to the new King Air C90GTx include an increase in gross weight and the addition of composite winglets, which improve climb performance and further increase fuel efficiency. Featuring a cabin 50 percent larger than some very light jets, the C90GTx seats up to seven passengers in its famed squared-oval design, allowing greater passenger comfort. It includes an in-flight accessible, heated and pressurized baggage storage area along with a private aft lavatory as standard.
