Everett, WA, July 20, 2010 – Aviation Technical Services (ATS) has entered an agreement with Lumexis® Corporation to install its Fiber-To-The-Screen™(FTTS™) Inflight Entertainment System for launch customer flydubai on certain new post-delivery modification 737-800 aircraft.
Installation of the FTTS system on flydubai 737-800 aircraft will be performed at ATS’ facilities at Paine Field in Everett, WA. The agreement between Lumexis and ATS includes installation of the FTTS system on forty four (44) flydubai aircraft with installation of the first system beginning in October 2010.
“This Lumexis IFE installation program is an excellent example of how companies can take advantage of our capabilities and prime location being near the aircraft OEM production facility,” says Philip Fields, ATS VP Business Development. “ATS can perform virtually any post delivery modification for both single and twin aisle aircraft Boeing aircraft and our customers don’t have to worry about the costs and delays associated with ferrying aircraft to the modification site.”
