July 26, 2010
Faculty and students will be show casing the schools aviation programs at vendor booth 328 near the Aeroshell Plaza.

This year, for the first time, Middle Georgia College will be participating in the EAA Air Venture fly-in and air show. Faculty and students will be show casing the schools aviation programs at vendor booth 328 near the Aeroshell Plaza. The display will provide a glimpse of what it is like to be involved in a highly professional training environment while attending a 4 year college.

The aviation programs offered by Middle Georgia College include: fixed and rotor wing flight training programs which prepare students for a career as a professional pilot while they earn their Bachelor’s degree, the nation’s number one ranked new air traffic control training program, aviation structural and maintenance training programs, airport logistics and management degrees, and several research institutes which are involved in projects such as the James Web Space Telescope.

Those attending EAA Air Venture will have the opportunity to not only get a firsthand look at these programs, but will also be able to talk with the instructors and students who make Middle Georgia College a leader in the aviation industry. For those of you unable to attend, those same instructors and students will be posting their experiences at our event blog at www.gavmgc.wordpress.com along with plenty of photos and videos from the air show of course, and like always you can visit our school web page at www.mgc.edu for more information or to set up a tour of our campus.

Looking forward to seeing those of you who can make it there!
