Mexican F900 Maintained & Refurbished at StarPort in Orlando, FL

A team of eight maintenance technicians on two shifts, performed extensive work including interior refurbishments.

ORLANDO, FL – StarPortUSA, based out of the Orlando-Sanford International Airport, recently delivered a F900 which was completed and maintained at the 115,000-square-foot facility. The aircraft underwent a 2A, 2A+, 2C, 3A, 3A+, 4A+, A+ and C inspection with a landing gear overhaul and an interior refurbishment.

According to Assistant General Manager Dennis Dose, the maintenance work on the Falcon 900 was extensive. “This project involved meticulous coordination between departments in order to meet the delivery schedule and maintain our high standards. We had a team of eight maintenance technicians on two shifts, which performed the job, on-time, in approximately 2,750 man-hours.” While maintenance was being performed on the aircraft, interior refurbishments were also completed.

The aircraft’s crew seats were recovered in sheepskin, the bulkheads were reupholstered, interior cabin wood was polished and detailed, and the entry way steps were recovered. In addition, the aircraft’s aft baggage compartment and forward cabin closets were recovered, cabin drapes and closets were refurbished, and the aircraft’s seat belts were rewebbed. To finish, gold-metalplating services were performed on the seat buckles.

The aircraft was delivered to the customer on time. “This is a regular, repeat customer of ours and we do everything possible to ensure the highest-quality service and prompt delivery to reduce his overall downtime,” said Executive Director of Sales Eddie Hidalgo.
