Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey to Maintain PW127 and CF34-8 Engines for Air Nostrum

They have signed an agreement for maintenance, repair and overhaul services of numerous Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127 turboprop engines and General Electric CF34-8C5 turbofan engines.

Air Nostrum and Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey (LTAA) have signed an agreement for maintenance, repair and overhaul services of numerous Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127 turboprop engines and General Electric CF34-8C5 turbofan engines. As per the terms of the agreement, LTAA will also provide on-site services at Air Nostrum's home base in Valencia, Spain.

"Signing this contract underlines our year-long confidence in LTAA's tailored solutions and MRO experience. A perfect example is the on-site compressor shroud replacement program on our CF34-8C engines which is extremely cost effective and which is preventing us from unscheduled engine shop visits," said Miguel Angel Falcón, Director General of Air Nostrum.
