Lincoln, MA. – October 4, 2010 – Avidyne Corporation, a leading provider of integrated flight decks, displays, and safety systems for general aviation aircraft, announced they have received approval from the Agência Nacional De Aviação Civil –Brasil (ANAC) for retrofit installation of the Entegra Release 9 (R9) Integrated Flight Deck suite in Brazilian-registered Entegra-equipped Cirrus aircraft. Last week, Avidyne announced that they had received ANAC approval for their DFC90 autopilot retrofit for existing Entegra-equipped Cirrus aircraft.
“ANAC approval of our Entegra Release 9 suite is another important milestone for Avidyne, as there is a significant number of Cirrus aircraft based in Brazil,” said Patrick Herguth, Avidyne’s Chief Operating Officer. “With this ANAC certification, Avidyne is now able to directly address the pent up demand from Brazil-registered Cirrus owners for R9.”
