Pratt & Whitney Canada to Provide PW535 Engines to Power Up To 125 Embraer Phenom 300 Platinum Edition Aircraft for NetJets

ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- (Marketwire - Oct. 20, 2010) - NBAA - NetJets Inc. announced today that it will order up to 125 Embraer Phenom 300 platinum edition executive jets powered by Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) PW535E engines. The agreement between Embraer and NetJets includes engines for 50 firm and 75 option aircraft. As with all of NetJets' P&WC-powered fleet, the engines will be covered under P&WC's comprehensive Fleet Management Program. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2013. The announcement was made at the National Business Aviation Association's 63rd annual meeting and convention (NBAA) in Atlanta, Georgia. P&WC is a United Technologies Corp. company (NYSE:UTX).

The PW535E model meets the high demands of the fractional ownership market with specifically adapted maintenance intervals, easy on-wing maintenance features, and excellent operating economics.

The PW500 turbofan engine family provides dependable power for light to mid-size jets. The PW500 family is comprised of 3 engine series and 7 models, ranging from 2,900 to 4,500 pounds thrust, with more than 2,800 engines produced having accumulated over 7.5 million flight hours.
