Kansas Aviation Announces Contract Signing with Pratt & Whitney Canada

(Independence, Kansas, October 28, 2010) - Kansas Aviation of Independence ("Kansas Aviation") announced a contract signing with Pratt & Whitney Canada Corp. (P&WC.). Kansas Aviation was selected as a repair and overhaul supplier for constant speed units, prop governors, and oil-to-fuel heaters. The contract covers a variety of engine types, including the PT6T, PT6A, JT15D, PW100, PW150, PW200, PW300, and PW500. Kansas Aviation was formed in 1992, is an industry leader in providing engine accessory repairs and overhauls to the fixed wing and rotor markets. Kansas Aviation’s services cover most engine accessories, including fuel controls, pumps, oil coolers, valves, and electronic exciter boxes. Current capabilities support most P&WC engine applications, along with Rolls Royce 250 and General Electric products.
