Sponsors will make scholarship awards available to recipients who will be selected by the NBAA Maintenance Committee. In 2011, a total of 60 potential training awards have been generously made available by sponsors. For a full list of awards, refer to the scholarship application.

Awards will be made to U.S. citizens or permanent residents without regards to sex, race, religion or national origin. Recipients will be announced at the NBAA 26th Annual Maintenance Management Conference, to be held April 5 to 7, 2011, in San Diego, CA. Maintenance TRACS awards will be redeemable under the conditions established by NBAA and its sponsors, and applicants are limited to receiving one award per person every other year; i.e., recipients of the 2010 scholarship are not eligible to apply in 2011, but they will be eligible to apply again in 2012.

Recipients must complete all professional/educational training and redeem the award within one year from the date of announcement, unless otherwise noted, or risk forfeit of the award. Recipients also are responsible for costs associated with the scholarship, such as travel and lodging expenses, unless otherwise noted.

A completed and signed application form must be accompanied by an essay, resume, letter of recommendation and (for students) proof of enrollment. See application form for details www.nbaa.org/prodev/scholarships/mxtracs/mxtracs-scholarship-app11.pdf.

Applications must be received by NBAA on or before February 11, 2011. Direct all questions about this application to NBAA at (202) 783-9250 or info@nbaa.org.
