Icelandair Technical Services Selects Mxi Technologies for Full-Fleet Maintenance Management and 3rd Party M

EASA-approved, total-care maintenance provider chooses Maintenix software for modern, user-driven design, and feature-rich functionality.

Ottawa, Canada (December 14, 2010) – Mxi® Technologies, the leader in aviation maintenance management software, announced today that Icelandair Technical Services (ITS), the maintenance arm of Iceland’s national carrier, Icelandair, has selected Maintenix® for total-care services provided to the airline and international operators.

In implementing the Maintenix software, ITS will benefit from increased efficiency throughout their entire maintenance operations as they continue to build on existing engineering strengths and their unique ability to serve multiple markets from a strategically central location. Following the momentum of a successful proof-of-concept pilot, phased implementation has begun on a full-footprint solution covering engineering, planning, technical records, materials, maintenance execution, and finance.
