Eaton Names Edwards Manager of Aerospace Group’s Engine Business Unit
He will report to Frank Dubey, vice president and general manager of the Aerospace Group’s Fuel Systems Division in Euclid, Ohio.
IRVINE, California … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced that Brian Edwards has been named manager of the Aerospace Group’s Engine Business Unit, effective Jan. 1, 2011. He will report to Frank Dubey, vice president and general manager of the Aerospace Group’s Fuel Systems Division in Euclid, Ohio.
“Brian’s leadership skills and technical knowledge will be strong assets for Eaton as we continue seeking new opportunities in this key growth market,” Dubey said. “He is a proven performer for Eaton, and his extensive aerospace experience will bring depth and vision to this important management role.”
Edwards joined Eaton’s Aerospace Group in 2002 as manager – supply chain for the Hydraulic Systems Division in Jackson, Miss., and went on to become plant manager. He also served as plant manager for the Hydraulic Systems Division in Charleston, SC.
Edwards started his career with Boeing in St. Louis, Mo., and held roles with increasing responsibility including manager – design engineering and manager – supplier management and procurement. In 1997, he joined Zexel Valeo Compressor USA as director of materials.
Edwards holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and master’s degrees in engineering management and business administration from Washington University.
