ABS Jets, the Prague based company providing a full range of aircraft services, has appointed Antonia Tomkova to the role of Commercial Director. The appointment commences with immediate effect. Previously Antonia was in the role of Head of Marketing & PR at ABS Jets.
Antonia is well placed for this new role as she has a great deal of experience in the aviation industry. A founder member of the association Central Europe Private Aviation (CEPA) - created to foster the development of private and business aviation in central Europe – Antonia was instrumental is setting up the first CEPA international conference in Prague in April 2010. Being so well known amongst the European and International Business Aviation community, Antonia's new position at ABS Jets will give her the opportunity to further establish herself as a key figure at the forefront of European Business Aviation.
Prior to working with ABS Jets Antonia spent six years with Grossman Jet Services in the role of Chief Commercial Officer. Antonia is a member of a wide range of business and management organizations including Women in Aviation, the Czech Management Association, Business and Professional Women of the Czech Republic, the International Business Forum and the Association of Business Sports. Antonia is also a member of both the British and American Chambers of Commerce. In 2009 Antonia was nominated in four categories for the prestigious Manager of the Year Awards. Antonia graduated from the Faculty of Business at the University of Economics in Bratislava and in 2009 received an Executive MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
Speaking about her appointment as Commercial Director at ABS Jets Antonia said “I am delighted to take on this new role with ABS Jets. I look forward to the challenges and achievements it will bring. I intend to focus on strengthening ABS Jets position in the Business Aviation market, bringing new business to the company and increasing our portfolio of aircraft services. Over the past few years ABS Jets has grown in size and increased the range of services we can offer, the company is now in a position where we have the capacity and expertise to deliver and meet the needs of an increasing number of customers.”

ABS Jets is an EASA Part -145 approved maintenance organization and an Embraer Authorised Service Centre. The company currently has operational bases in Prague and Bratislava and is planning to open subsidiaries in Kiev and Sofia. Flight Operations and Services are carried out 24/7 to a global customer base. ABS jets currently employs over 180 highly qualified employees.
