Jet Aviation Zurich Extends Operational Hours for Maintenance Services

Maintenance support coverage at Jet Aviation Zurich is now available from 06:00 to 23:00 hours Monday through Friday.

Zurich / Switzerland, February 04, 2011 – Jet Aviation Zurich has extended its hours of operation, effective immediately. Maintenance support coverage at Jet Aviation Zurich is now available from 06:00 to 23:00 hours Monday through Friday. These enhanced service hours will benefit customers by reducing their aircraft downtime.

Jet Aviation Zurich has recently introduced a shift roster in order to extend its operating hours. Customers can now receive full maintenance support coverage from 06:00 to 23:00 hours Monday through Friday, which will ultimately result in reduced aircraft downtime. Clients can further benefit from Jet Aviation Zurich’s extensive spare parts inventory and efficient supply chain management, as well as from the company’s vastly experienced and OEM-trained mechanics and 24/7 AOG services.

“The extended operating hours have been introduced with the intention of benefiting our customers by reducing the downtime of the aircraft and thus increasing operator’s aircraft utilization,” says Jakob Straub, vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation Zurich.

Jet Aviation Zurich consists of 5,000 square meters (53,820 square feet) of hangar space and provides aircraft maintenance support to small and medium-sized business jets and turboprops. The facility is an EASA #CH.145.0202 and FAA #CR5Y789M authorized repair station offering airframe and engine maintenance, completions, cabinetry and furniture refurbishment, electrical systems installations, avionics installations and exterior painting services. Jet Aviation Zurich is a Hawker Beechcraft and Cessna Citation authorized service center. The location also offers FBO and fueling services.
