Jet Aviation Appoints Stefan Benz Vice President MRO Sales for EMEA & Asia

Basel / Switzerland, February 08, 2011 – Jet Aviation has appointed Stefan Benz the new vice president MRO sales for the EMEA & Asia group. In this function, Benz leads all regional MRO sales directors and the sales support team. As part of an overall customer relationship enhancement, he will also work closely with all Jet Aviation sites to optimize internal capabilities and capacities, and to effectively manage customer relations.

Stefan Benz brings considerable aviation knowledge and experience to this role. He is responsible for growing sales and expanding Jet Aviation’s MRO service portfolio available in the EMEA and Asia regions to all customers. He began his aviation career with Daimler-Benz Aerospace before moving to the European Aeronautic Defence & Space Company (EADS), holding several positions in marketing and regional strategy. Benz holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Stuttgart University and gained direct MRO sales experience from MTU Maintenance Hannover GmbH in the field of commercial aeronautical powerplants. Prior to joining Jet Aviation, he was General Manager Sales, Marketing and Business Development at a large aerospace technology company.
