Blackhawk Announces Executive Appointments

Blackhawk has appointed Edwin Black as director of Global Sales and Scott Cheairs will fill the newly created position of director of Core Parts Sales.

WACO, Texas, February 17, 2011 – Jim Allmon, president of Blackhawk, announced today that the company has appointed Edwin Black as director of Global Sales. Scott Cheairs will fill the newly created position of director of Core Parts Sales. Blackhawk is a leading provider of performance enhancements and upgrades for the Beechcraft King Air aircraft series and other popular turboprop aircraft.

“We are delighted to expand Edwin’s responsibilities,” Allmon said. “He was outstanding in his previous role as director of Marketing & Sales, and we look forward to benefitting from his leadership as he takes responsibility for worldwide sales and our sales staff, including our offices in Europe, Brazil and South Africa.”

“We are equally pleased to welcome Scott to Blackhawk,” added Allmon. “He brings strong aviation experience, having previously worked with Hawker Beechcraft Services.” Cheairs will be responsible for sales of engines and other systems and components returned to Blackhawk during upgrades and will report to Black.
