All four new appointments will be field-based (two in southeast, one in the southwest and another on the west coast) for closer-to-the-customer regional support.

GlobalParts.aero, the Wichita-based business and regional aircraft parts specialist formerly known as Global Parts, Inc., has added four new sales people to support its growing customer base and volume.

In making the announcement, GlobalParts.aero Director of Business Development Brad Vieux said all four new appointments will be field-based (two in southeast, one in the southwest and another on the west coast) for closer-to-the-customer regional support. All have solid professional backgrounds in rotables and avionics, identified as key growth areas for the company.

Chris Allison, a seasoned veteran with fifteen years' sales experience at Avgroup Inc., is now assigned to GlobalParts.aero's southeast region. He previously worked in executive sales for Monroe Systems and video producers City Jail Productions and Skilldex Inc. He is a 1989 graduate of Baylor University.

Bryan Hickey, another former rotables sales rep with Avgroup Inc., also joins GlobalParts.aero's southeast team. He had previously worked Aramark Health Care and Planemasters, Ltd. in Chicago. He is a 1995 graduate of Spartanburg (SC) Methodist College and also attended Coastal Carolina University.

Teri Lang, formerly of Honeywell International, will open GlobalParts.aero's new sales and support office for the southwest. During her 22 years at Honeywell, Lang worked closely with customers in business aviation, various commercial segments and air transport. She studied business at Pendleton Community College and inventory and management at JCC College, and is Six Sigma certified.

Don Demuth will represent GlobalParts.aero in the west coast states. Coming from an avionics background, his experience includes everything from negotiating fleet retrofits to setting up a Part 145 certified spare parts department. He previously served 11 years with the U.S. Marine Corps coordinating logistics operations in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

About GlobalParts.aero

GlobalParts.aero provides worldwide one-stop shopping for common and proprietary aircraft parts and rotables for business aviation and regional airlines. It maintains a parts inventory valued at over $500,000,000 comprising nearly 100,000 line items housed at its own 100,000 sq-ft warehouse in Wichita. GlobalParts.aero is the largest worldwide provider of Hawker Beechcraft proprietary parts and is that company's sole authorized spare parts distributor for Central America and Mexico.

The ISO and ASA-certified company recently changed its name from Global Parts, Inc. to GlobalParts.aero (pronounced "GlobalParts Dot Aero") both to highlight the company's aerospace bloodline and to synergize with its helpful and interactive Web site, appropriately named www.GlobalParts.aero.

"Customers can visit our Web site 24/7 to obtain specs, inventory, cost and other information on all the parts and tools we carry," President Troy Palmer said. "For every aircraft we support, we offer an unmatched breadth and depth of inventory combined with prompt and friendly personal service. Our quality and documentation are unsurpassed and our pricing is competitive, so customers stay with us. Their satisfaction is key to our fast growth, which up to now has been on word of mouth alone."
