PHOENIX, Ariz., February 28, 2011 – Able Aerospace Services, a Component Overhaul, Repair and Replacement Parts (PMA) Manufacturer, will host a seminar at Heli-Expo to discuss strategies for reducing aircraft operating costs. The 45-minute presentation will be held on Monday, March 7, at 1 p.m. in Room S.230-F of the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

Able experts will discuss how they helped save customers an estimated $100 million in 2010 by repairing expensive components and parts that would typically be scrapped and replaced with new parts. Some fleet customers saved over $1 million.

Able has developed 8,000 safe, FAA-approved repairs without one in-service failure. Able’s safe, approved repairs, overhauls and replacement parts cost a fraction of new and are of the same better form, fit, function and reliability than new OEM parts.

“Able Aerospace Services is pleased to have this opportunity to speak directly to operators who are interested in reducing their aircraft operating costs,” said Lee Benson, president of Able. “During our 28 years of developing and delivering safe, approved component repairs, overhauls and replacement parts we have committed ourselves to a mission of helping operators reduce aircraft operating costs without sacrificing safety or reliability, and we’re looking forward to sharing our insight.”

Heli-Expo will mark the debut of the company’s Able Preferred™ overhaul programs for owners and operators of Eurocopter AS350 and Bell 206 and 407 helicopters. Able Preferred Programs feature exchanges as well as other innovative solutions in order to significantly reduce costs and turnaround time.
