ExecuJet Aviation Group is expanding the reach of its aircraft Completions Management Division with newly-won business from South Africa, the Middle East and Australia. The Division, headed by ExecuJet’s Completions Manager Lukas Weiss, oversaw five aircraft completions in 2010, primarily on larger cabin aircraft including Global Express’ and Challenger 605s and has been working with completions centres in the USA, Canada and Europe. The team also oversaw two refurbishments on pre-owned aircraft in 2010, including a Global Express that had all new cabinetry surfaces and soft goods, plus exterior paint renewed. In addition to the material aspects a Lufthansa Technik NICE cabin management and entertainment system was installed on a Global Express, the first of its type to receive this retrofit.

“We are extremely encouraged by the increasing numbers of global customers approaching us for independent advice on their aircraft completions and refurbishments,” said Lukas Weiss, ExecuJet Completions Manager. “Our role starts from the outset, where we help them determine the modifications and look they want.” We supervise and oversee the project at the completion centre from beginning to end, undertake a thorough check of the aircraft prior to it leaving the facility and ensure throughout the process that the client”s budget and timeframe is being adhered to.”

ExecuJet has also partnered with interior design company M & R Associates to take care of the interior design aspects of each project. “We work very closely with M & R Associates Design and the customer to bring the design to life” continued Weiss. “Once the design has been decided they will then arrange everything from the fabric of the curtains to the cutlery and plates, it truly is a full package that each customer receives and we commit ourselves to the project from start to finish”.

ExecuJet’s Completions Management Division, now in its 5th year works hand-in-hand with the OEMs and refurbishment centres as soon as an aircraft deal, new or pre-owned, is concluded with a customer.
