Eaton Awarded for Providing Outstanding Component Support for U.S. Army’s Aviation Rotary Wing Fleets

The Integrated Materiel Management Center (IMMC), the logistics division of the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Life Cycle Management Command (AMCOM), presented the award to Eaton.

IRVINE, Calif. …Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced that it has been awarded for outstanding performance by the Integrated Materiel Management Center (IMMC), the logistics division of the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Life Cycle Management Command (AMCOM). Eaton was recognized for providing timely and thorough component support for aviation rotary wing aircraft, which has contributed to high readiness rates for the U.S. Army’s deployed fleets.

Eaton received the 2011 IMMC Weapon Systems Award. IMMC develops, acquires, fields and sustains worldwide logistics support for Army aviation and missile systems and associated support equipment to ensure weapon systems readiness.

The award was presented during the Army Aviation Association of America’s Joseph P. Cribbins Aviation Product Symposium on Feb. 9 in Huntsville, Ala.

A variety of Eaton components can be found on Blackhawk, Apache, Kiowa Warrior and Chinook helicopter fleets maintained by the U.S. Army.
