FlightSafety Offers Crew Resource Management Course Designed for Helicopter Operations

LA GUARDIA AIRPORT, New York (March 3, 2011) – FlightSafety International is pleased to announce Crew Resource Management training designed specifically for helicopter operations. Helicopter pilots, flight assistants, air ambulance crews, maintenance personnel and flight operation specialists will all benefit from this scenario-based training program. The topics covered during this four-hour course include Human Factors, teamwork, communication, situational awareness, aeronautical decision making, leadership and safety.
FlightSafety’s goal in developing and offering Crew Resource Management (CRM) training is to instill interpersonal skills that enhance appropriate and correct decision making, and the working relationships between helicopter crew members with the objective of developing an increased focus on safety and the overall efficiency of flight operations.
