Pratt & Whitney Canada Signs Long-Term Agreement With Era Helicopters

It has signed a long-term agreement with Era Helicopters LLC (Era) of Lake Charles, La., to provide engine support for Era's fleet of 70 P&WC-powered helicopters.

HELI-EXPO, ORLANDO, FLORIDA -- (Marketwire - March 6, 2011) - Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) has signed a long-term agreement with Era Helicopters LLC (Era) of Lake Charles, La., to provide engine support for Era's fleet of 70 P&WC-powered helicopters. The contract covers 150 installed PW200/PT6B/PT6C and PT6T engines, plus spares, for a period of 10 years. Pratt & Whitney Canada is a United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX) company.
