Piper Plans Announcement of Private Pilot Training Program, Caribbean Dealer at Sun 'n Fun

VERO BEACH, Fla., March 22, 2011 – Piper Aircraft Inc. plans to display a number of aircraft from its single-engine line at the Sun ’n Fun International Fly-In & Expo in Lakeland, Fla., beginning March 29.

The company will also use the iconic fun flying venue to provide details about its Ready, Set, Fly private pilot training program and announce a new aircraft dealer for the Caribbean and parts of South America. The company plans to exhibit new M-Class aircraft, including the Meridian, Mirage and Matrix along with a Seminole and Archer LX at the air show.

“We think Sun ‘n Fun in Florida is the perfect venue to kick off our new Ready, Set, Fly program and everyone will know why when we make the announcement on the first day of show,” says Piper Executive Vice President Randy Groom. The company will not release details about the new private pilot training program until its press conference at 10 a.m. on Tuesday March 29.
