Eaton to Provide Engine-Driven Pumps and AC Motorpumps for Virgin Atlantic Airways' First Order of Airbus A330 Jets

IRVINE, Calif. …Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced that it will provide hydraulic pumps for Virgin Atlantic Airways’ first order of 10 Airbus A330 passenger jets. The contract is a continuation of Eaton’s relationship with Virgin Atlantic Airways as a hydraulic component supplier for the airline’s Airbus passenger fleets. The contract value has not been disclosed.

“Eaton is excited about this opportunity to extend our support for Virgin Atlantic as the airline prepares to place its new fleet of A330s into service,” said Eric Alden, vice president of customer support for Eaton’s Aerospace Group. “This contract represents Eaton’s continued expansion in the aerospace component market with a growing list of airline customers around the world.”
