Steven Weinert Receives FAA DAR-T Certification as Uniflight DOM
The additional qualification will allow Uniflight to perform additional inspections and airworthiness functions as part of the company's expanding capability offered to its customers around the world.
4 April, 2011 - Grand Prairie, Texas, Uniflight Northeast has announced the company’s Director of Maintenance, Mr. Steve Weinert has recently received the FAA Designated Airworthiness Representative – Technical (DART) classification as a further enhancement to the company’s already extensive capability. The additional qualification will allow Uniflight to perform additional inspections and airworthiness functions as part of the company’s expanding capability offered to its customers around the world. With the new DART capability comes the ability to issue original, recurrent, standard and special airworthiness certificates for U.S. and non U.S. manufactured aircraft as well as restricted and experimental category aircraft. Weinert will also have the capability to issue special flight permits for U.S. registered aircraft.
Steve Weinert has an extensive technical background that includes almost forty years of professional maintenance, executive management, consulting and support for aircraft around the United States. Uniflight continues to diversify its customer offerings with a regionalized approach to support and customer satisfaction.
