IRVINE, Calif. …Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced that two of its aerospace facilities received 2010 Boeing Performance Excellence Awards. The Boeing Company issues the awards annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. Eaton facilities in Costa Mesa, Calif., and Beltsville, Md., maintained Silver composite performance ratings for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct. 1, 2009 to Sept. 30, 2010.
This year Boeing recognized 558 suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award.

Content manufactured by the Costa Mesa electrical sensing and controls division includes door latch actuators, push button switches and accessories. The Beltsville conveyance systems division’s content includes seals, couplings, flanges and flexible joints.

Eaton Selected by Bombardier Aerospace to Supply Fuel Tank Inerting System for Learjet 85 Business Jet
Eaton will supply the fuel tank inerting system and also support the regulatory process to achieve FAA inerting system certification for the Learjet 85 program.
