Eaton’s Aerospace Facilities in California and Maryland Receive Silver Boeing Performance Excellence Awards

Eaton facilities in Costa Mesa, Calif., and Beltsville, Md., maintained Silver composite performance ratings for each month of the 12-month performance period

IRVINE, Calif. …Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced that two of its aerospace facilities received 2010 Boeing Performance Excellence Awards. The Boeing Company issues the awards annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. Eaton facilities in Costa Mesa, Calif., and Beltsville, Md., maintained Silver composite performance ratings for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct. 1, 2009 to Sept. 30, 2010.

This year Boeing recognized 558 suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award.

Eaton’s award-winning facilities supply content for all Boeing commercial and military platforms. Content manufactured by the Costa Mesa electrical sensing and controls division includes door latch actuators, push button switches and accessories. The Beltsville conveyance systems division’s content includes seals, couplings, flanges and flexible joints.
