Minneapolis, MN, April 11, 2011: EmpowerMX announces Phil Bathurst has joined the leadership team as Executive Vice President – Sales & Marketing.
Phil Bathurst has more than thirty years operational experience in the third-party aircraft/component MRO industry including twenty-five years of experience in key leadership positions. Prior to joining EmpowerMX, Phil was a partner at Phisha LLC and worked with numerous airlines, aircraft/component MROs, and support organizations to improve their workflow and business processes.
Phil’s career in aviation began at Olmsted Instrument Company as an avionics technician supporting aircraft maintenance checks and modifications. In 1990, TIMCO hired Phil to set up their avionics department in Greensboro, North Carolina as part of the company’s start-up operations. During his 17 years at TIMCO, Phil served in several key positions including Director of Operations and Senior Director of Special Projects with responsibility for business process improvements at all TIMCO facilities.
Phil then worked at Associated Air Center (AAC) in Dallas as Vice President of Operations where he gained experience in the aircraft VIP completion field. After AAC, Phil was Vice President of Operations at Aviation Technical Services in Everett, Washington with responsibility for all their day-to-day operations.
