Boeing Shanghai Signs Maintenance Agreement with AeroSvit Ukraine Airlines

Boeing Shanghai was established in June 2006 as a joint venture of Boeing, Shanghai Airport Authorities and Shanghai Airlines.

SHANGHAI, April 14, 2011 – - Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services Co., Ltd. (Boeing Shanghai) announced today the signing of a one-year maintenance agreement with AeroSvit Ukraine Airlines for 767 heavy maintenance and modification.

Boeing Shanghai inducted the first 767 for AeroSvit on March 9 to conduct a C check. In addition, a second AeroSvit 767 entered the facility in late March for Boeing Shanghai’s first winglet modification, with a pylon modification and a D check.

AeroSvit Airlines, with headquarters the Ukraine capital of Kiev, is that region’s largest airline company.

Boeing Shanghai was established in June 2006 as a joint venture of Boeing, Shanghai Airport Authorities and Shanghai Airlines. The mission of Boeing Shanghai is to provide high-quality modification, maintenance, repair and overhaul services to regional and international airlines as well as to domestic Chinese airlines.
