AEM Adds Boeing 737 NG Landing Gear Ship-Set to Loan/Exchange Pool
AEM has made a significant investment in landing gear inventory so that its customers can maximise their flying hours.
STANSTED AIRPORT, ESSEX—AEM Limited, a unit of AMETEK Aerospace and Defense, announces that it has invested in a ship-set of Boeing 737 Next Generation landing gear to be used for loan purposes in support of AEM’s growing gear repair and overhaul capability.
The gears are compatible with Boeing 737-600, -700, -800 and -900 series aircraft and are available on short or extended loan during the overhaul cycle at competitive rates, adding further value and flexibility to the service offering.
“AEM has made a significant investment in landing gear inventory so that its customers can maximise their flying hours,” notes Alan Harding, AEM’s Managing Director. “Our Next Generation capability complements the Classic ship-sets that AEM has maintained for many years and has available.”
“Along with our long-established relationship with Boeing, AEM provides comprehensive in-house machining and plating services in support of its landing gear activities,” he adds. Further information can be found at AEM’s website at www.aem.co.uk
