AC TECH Appoints Martin Barila as Vice President of Operations

Martin Barila has joined the company as vice president of operations based at its Garden Grove, CA, headquarters.

Garden Grove, CA – May 2, 2011 – AC TECH, a leading provider of aerospace sealants and specialty chemical products, announced today that Martin Barila has joined the company as vice president of operations based at its Garden Grove headquarters.

Previously, Barila served as director of operations at Air Industries Company, an aerospace fastener manufactureralso located in Garden Grove. There he drove numerous operational improvements, including productivity gains, work in process reduction and lean implementation.

Prior to entering the aerospace industry, Martin Barila served in a variety of automotive engineering roles for Arvin Meritor Auto, Daimler Chrysler and Yamaha. He has earned two mechanical engineering degrees: a Bachelor of Science from North Carolina A&T University, as well as a Master of Science from North Carolina State University.
