Velcon Filters Announces New President

Keith McAslan has been named President, succeeding Dave Taylor, effective May 1st.

It is with grateful appreciation for his dedicated service that we announce that David Taylor is stepping down as President of Velcon Filters, effective April 30th. During his 32 year tenure with Velcon, including 20 years as President, Dave has been instrumental to the success the company enjoys today. Luc Desjardins, Chairman of the Board of Velcon Filters commented, “We want to thank Dave for the contribution he has made and wish him success in all his future endeavors. We are sure that you will all join us in thanking Dave for his leadership, support and friendship during the last 32 years.”

With the recent acquisition of Twin Filter B.V. in the Netherlands, Velcon Filters has entered a new period in its growth as a supplier of filtration products to industries worldwide. Keith McAslan has been named President, succeeding Dave Taylor, effective May 1st. Keith joined Velcon in October 2010 as Chief Financial Officer and has been involved with all aspects of the Twin Filter acquisition and the integration that is currently in process. Wijbrand Schouten, President of Twin Filter, and Keith McAslan, President of Velcon Filters will report to Mr. Desjardins.
