Matthew Wright Named GM at Landmark Aviation - SDL

(Houston, Texas – May 12, 2011) Matthew Wright was named General Manager at Landmark Aviation — SDL this week. He will oversee both FBO and MRO operations.

"I am very pleased to join the Landmark network," Wright stated. "I plan to focus my efforts on enhancing our culture of safety and customer service, fostering the personal development of team members, and increasing market share."

Matthew comes to Landmark from Atlantic Aviation, and is currently an active member of the Arizona Business Aviation Association. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego, and later went on to earn a JD from the University of Nebraska’s School of Law. Prior to entering the aviation industry, he practiced law for five years.

In 2005, Matthew, a long-time aviation enthusiast, made the transition to the General Aviation industry, working for Atlantic Aviation as General Manager. In addition to managing the Deer Valley location, he served concurrently as Regional Manager of Maintenance Operations.
