The open days were held in conjunction with Embraer and included demonstration flights and a presentation of the fly-by-wire Simulator for the Embraer Legacy 500.

On the eve of EBACE, ABS Jets, the Prague based aircraft operator and full services provider, held two presentation days at their Prague and Bratislava locations. The two open days gave ABS Jets' clients the opportunity to have a look at an almost complete fleet of Embraer’s Executive Jets in one place. The open days were held in conjunction with Embraer and included demonstration flights and a presentation of the fly-by-wire Simulator for the Embraer Legacy 500. Customers, operators, journalists and pilots mingled with the ABS Jets team who were joined by Peter Kaiblinger, Embraer Regional Sales Director for Central & Eastern Europe, official representatives from Prague Ruzyne Airport, representatives from Society General Financing and a number of ABS Jets pilots and crew.

More than 60 visitors were treated to a review of Embraer fleet of aircraft, including a first time presentation of an Embraer Legacy 650 to Czech and Slovak market. ABS Jets has one of the world's largest fleets of Legacy 600 aircraft. The Legacy 650 was on display together with other Embraer Business Aircraft including the Phenom 100 and the Phenom 300.

The open days took place on 5th May at MR Stefanik Airport, Bratislava and 6th May at ABS headquarters at Prague Ruzyne Airport. Both of the presentation days were enhanced by beautiful Spring sunshine which enabled visitors to fully review ABS Jets aircraft and facilities. In addition to the aircraft on display ABS Jets were able to showcase their full range of services including aircraft maintenance, flight planning, aircraft sales, charter & brokerage, executive handling, aircraft management and travel management.

Speaking at the Prague event Vladimir Petak, Chief Executive Officer of ABS Jets warmly welcomed VIP's guests and dignitaries to the event and expressed his “Thanks, delight and satisfaction at seeing so many interested visitors.” Mr Petak went on to say that “As the operator of one of the world's largest fleet of Embraer aircraft we are pleased to offer this opportunity to demonstrate the level of comfort, flexibility and performance these aircraft deliver.”

Antonia Tomkova, ABS Jets Commercial Director added “These two open days have proved to be the perfect opportunity to give our customers the chance to have a look at the Embraer Legacy 650. Many of them are already familiar with the Legacy 600 but they were pleasantly surprised by extended range, very, very quiet cabin and comfort levels of the Legacy 650.”

The open days concluded with an invitation to visit ABS Jets at EBACE (booth 775).
