Northeast Aviation Technologies becomes UNIFLIGHT West Penn

Located at the Rostraver Airport located in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, UNIFLIGHT West Penn will continue to perform extensive fixed and rotary wing maintenance, repair and overhaul.

9 June, 2011 - Grand Prairie, Texas -- Following the successful acquisition of NorthEast Aviation Technologies (NEAT) by private equity investor Hawke Aerospace Group, NEAT will now be known as UNIFLIGHT West Penn. Located at the Rostraver Airport located in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, UNIFLIGHT West Penn will continue to perform extensive fixed and rotary wing maintenance, repair and overhaul. The FAR Part 145 repair station specializes in comprehensive avionics, structures, and inspections, and will expand its capabilities as part of the UNIFLIGHT group of companies.

Chairman of Hawke Aerospace Group, Joseph Hawke commented, “The acquisition of NEAT is an integral component of our ongoing growth and diversification. UNIFLIGHT West Penn, as it has been re-branded, significantly adds to UNIFLIGHT’s Northeastern U.S. presence and third-party maintenance network. We intend to make a significant investment in UNIFLIGHT West Penn to bolster our comprehensive services.” UNIFLIGHT West Penn will be the prime avionics design, integration and installation experts for Hawke Aerospace Group’s UNIFLIGHT, LLC platform of aviation maintenance companies.

UNIFLIGHT West Penn joins three other locations owned by rotorcraft-services focused Hawke Aerospace Group. UNIFLIGHT’s headquarters are in Grand Prairie, Texas with additional locations at Griffiss International Airport in New York (UNIFLIGHT Rome) and Reading Regional Airport in Berks County, Pennsylvania (UNIFLIGHT North East), as well as the new location in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania (UNIFLIGHT West Penn).
