Sage Parts Adds Multi-language Capability to its eSage E-commerce Site

Visitors can now view content in Spanish, French, Dutch, or German.

Melville, New York, June 6, 2011 – Sage Parts, the world’s leading supplier of replacement parts for ground support equipment, has further enhanced its abilities to serve customers globally by enabling the eSage website to be viewed in several languages. In addition to English, visitors to the site (esage.sageparts.com) can now click on a drop-down menu to view content in Spanish, French, Dutch, or German.

“With the introduction of eSage more than a decade ago, Sage Parts was the first in the ground support industry to offer an e-commerce solution for ordering GSE replacement parts,” said Michael Bloomfield, Sage Parts Executive Vice President. “Now, with eSage available for viewing in several languages, ordering parts 24/7/365 and accessing a wide range of information will be easier than ever for our current and future customers located throughout the world ... complementing what I’m proud to say is already the most responsive customer service in the global GSE marketplace.”

The eSage e-commerce site, which integrates seamlessly within Sage’s business enterprise systems, contains comprehensive specs about the company’s GSE replacement parts. Users log onto the site, enter their password, and begin “shopping” for the parts they want by simply entering either a part number or a description. Site visitors can also view images of parts.

Through the user-friendly site, any part can be referenced with the click of a mouse, and each part can be immediately ordered for shipment to the customer’s location via Sage’s extensive delivery network. The site is also linked directly to Sage’s warehouse facilities, helping to further speed order processing. In addition to detailed overviews of each part, the site contains customer specific ordering history, so customers can view a continually updated log of the parts they have ordered in the past.

Along with its multi-language capability, eSage now includes other important new components. Among these is a “Favorites” feature which enables Sage customers to create and store their own list of parts and other items they order frequently, saving substantial time and eliminating mistakes in placing re-orders. Also added to eSage is an “Accessories” feature that offers suggestions for related items when users search certain products.
