MINNEAPOLIS, MN – June 17, 2011 – Donaldson Aerospace & Defense, a division of Donaldson Company (NYSE:DCI), a leading, worldwide manufacturer of filtration systems and parts, announced today the launch of the new Campaign for Clean Cabin Air website. The website supports the campaign by providing a forum that discusses technologies that clean aircraft cabin air particulate and molecular contamination and hosts a plethora of information from a variety of regulatory and industry leaders on the topic of aircraft cabin filtration.

Launched in 2010 to drive change and take the cabin air discussion to a new level, the Campaign for Clean Cabin Air includes an educational component for airlines, OEMs, tier one suppliers and trade organizations on how aircraft cabin air becomes contaminated, how aircraft cabin air technology works to remove contaminants and how quality standards have changed in commercial aircraft over the past 30 years. Additionally, the Campaign reviews and discusses a recent study by the Denmark Technology University and the superior filtration of the Air Purification System (APS). Finally, the Campaign will be an advocate for driving higher cabin air quality standards.

"Launching this website is an integral part of the Campaign for Clean Cabin Air program," said Sheila Peyraud, Worldwide General Manager, Donaldson Aerospace & Defense. "Research shows that passenger and crew well-being and comfort are linked directly to air quality in the aircraft's cabin. More and more organizations are participating in this important discussion on cabin air quality with research, reports, articles and postings. This new website will be a portal to provide viewers a single location to provide answers to questions about cabin air contamination and offer solutions to improve cabin air quality."
