WACO, Texas, June 16, 2011 – Jim Allmon, president and CEO of Blackhawk, a leading provider of engine performance solutions for the Hawker Beechcraft King Air series and other popular turboprop aircraft worldwide, announced today that the company is again expanding its staff in response to strong performance and growing international customer base.

“Blackhawk is gratified that these two experienced professionals are bringing their expertise to our company,” said Allmon. “Micky and Jon are bringing a lot of talent and technical skill to our team, and their contributions will provide immediate benefits to our organization, but most importantly to our customers.”

Adams holds several FAA licenses and certifications and has completed a number of FAA advanced training programs.

Micky Bitcon joins Blackhawk after 13 years at Hawker Beechcraft Corporation, most recently serving as Director of Finance. Her experience in aerospace finance and accounting spans nearly 30 years and includes strategic planning, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, capital budgeting, management reporting policies and procedures and process improvement. Bitcon is a Certified Public Accountant. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and an executive master’s degree from Wichita State University.

“These new appointments round out the Blackhawk team and complement the recent promotion of Edwin Black as director of Global Sales and the addition of Scott Cheairs in the newly created position of director of Core Parts Sales,” added Allmon. “The excellent aviation experience of our newest staff members translates into even stronger commitment to customer satisfaction and outstanding product and service quality.”
