Jet Aviation Appoints Stephan Krenz Senior Vice President and General Manager Jet Aviation Basel

Krenz is responsible for leadership of the Jet Aviation Basel facility and for overseeing the entire completions business in the EMEA and Asia region.

Basel / Switzerland, July 12, 2011 – Jet Aviation has appointed Stephan Krenz as the senior vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation Basel. In this role, Krenz is responsible for leadership of the Jet Aviation Basel facility and for overseeing the entire completions business in the EMEA and Asia region.

Stephan Krenz assumed this new role effective July 1, 2011 and reports directly to Dan Clare, president of the Jet Aviation Group. He joined the company from Bombardier Transportation as interim General Manager of Jet Aviation Basel in March 2011.

Krenz began his professional career as a management consultant with A.T. Kearney and joined Bombardier Transportation in 1995. During his 15-year tenure with Bombardier, Krenz was promoted to vice president of various divisions within the company, including project management and sales, before he was appointed president of the company’s “Germany & Scandinavia” business unit, where he served until 2010. He is a graduate of Hamburg University with a degree in industrial engineering and business administration.
