Zurich / Switzerland, July 14, 2011 – Jet Aviation recently announced the appointment of Johannes Turzer to the position of vice president and accountable manager of maintenance at Jet Aviation Basel; Sebastian Groeger to vice president and general manager, Jet Aviation Dusseldorf; and Philippe Crevier to vice president and general manager, Jet Aviation Singapore.

Jet Aviation has restructured its top management in EMEA & Asia, appointing Johannes Turzer, formerly vice president and general manager at Jet Aviation Dusseldorf, as the new vice president and accountable manager of maintenance services at Jet Aviation Basel. Sebastian Groeger, vice president and general manager at Jet Aviation Singapore, will succeed Turzer as the new vice president and general manager at Jet Aviation Dusseldorf. The company has further appointed Philippe Crevier as vice president and general manager at Jet Aviation Singapore. Turzer and Crevier assumed their respective leadership roles effective July 1, 2011; Groeger will assume his new role effective August 1, 2011.

Turzer joined the company in 2000 as vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation Dusseldorf and Hannover, later assuming further responsibility for the London Biggin Hill operation. While successfully managing these sites, he was also instrumental in establishing Jet Aviation Moscow Vnukovo in late 2007. In his new role, he will report to Stephan Krenz, general manager Jet Aviation Basel, on matters of general business and to Christof Späth, Jet Aviation’s senior vice president MRO and FBO services for EMEA & Asia, regarding maintenance issues.

Groeger was appointed vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation Singapore in November 2007 and successfully grew the maintenance and FBO business to the extent that the company will soon triple its hangar space in Singapore. He also expanded the company’s foothold in Asia by establishing a new maintenance operation in Hong Kong in 2008 and a station in Kuala Lumpur shortly thereafter.

Crevier is a 30-year veteran of the aviation industry and succeeds Sebastian Groeger in his role at Jet Aviation’s maintenance and FBO operations in Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur. He joins Jet Aviation from Bombardier, where he served as vice president of marketing for business aircraft in Montreal, Canada, and collaborated on several business development projects in the Pacific Rim. Prior to that, he was the president and COO of Canada’s leading business aviation service provider, Skyservice. Crevier has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from McGill University and is a distinguished graduate of the Canadian Armed Forces’ Pilot Training Program. Both Sebastian Groeger and Philippe Crevier will report directly to Christof Späth.

“Johannes Turzer has successfully managed Jet Aviation’s MRO and FBO operations in Germany for over ten years and brings crucial company and industry knowledge to his new pivotal position,” says Späth. “Meanwhile Groeger had expressed personal interest in returning to Europe earlier this year, so given his proven track record, his appointment to Dusseldorf is a real win-win solution for the company.”

"Crevier brings vast experience in building high-performance teams and market-leading businesses and is wellsuited to direct our key MRO and FBO facility in the growing Asian Pacific market,” Späth adds. “Combined, I’m confident these appointees will strengthen our leadership team and secure continuity in our growing global MRO and FBO network.”
