São José dos Campos, July 19, 2011 – Embraer will be present for the sixth consecutive year at the Experimental Aircraft Association’s (EAA) AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The annual event, in its 59th edition, is one of the world’s most famous international gatherings for aviation enthusiasts, and will be held July 25-31, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For the third consecutive year, a Phenom 100 entry level jet will be displayed at the show, as well as a Phenom 300 light jet for a second year at the Company’s location: static #347, at ConocoPhillips Plaza.

“At this year’s show, Embraer is showcasing the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300. The Phenom 100 we have on display belongs to Purdue University and has been in operation since December 2010 for use in business travel and as a way to enable the students in the professional flight technology program to graduate with a jet flight rating as part of their undergraduate experience,” said Ernest Edwards, President, Embraer Executive Jets. “We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dean Gary Bertoline, Mike Suckow, and the rest of the Department of Aviation Technology at Purdue’s College of Technology for the use of their airplane this week.” “With the addition of the Embraer Phenom 100 to our fleet, the vision of ‘every student flies a jet’ has become a reality,” said Mike Suckow, Purdue’s associate professor of aviation technology and assistant department for air operations. “AirVenture continues to play an important role to us each year and certainly has contributed to the success we have had with the Phenom 100 being the most delivered business jet in 2010,” continues Edwards. “Additionally, the Phenom 300 continues to have worldwide acceptance including national and regional fractional companies such as Executive Air Share, Flight Options, and NetJets. The Phenom 300 has also been presented Flying Magazine’s 2011 Editor’s Choice award.”

Embraer will host a press briefing on Wednesday, July 27, at 7:45 a.m. at the Company’s outdoor booth #347. Embraer will provide an update to the media on the Company’s comprehensive portfolio and advancing programs. Mr. Edwards will present the latest achievements of the Company’s expanded executive jets portfolio, consisting of the entry level Phenom 100, the light Phenom 300, the midlight Legacy 450, the midsize Legacy 500, the super midsize Legacy 600, the large Legacy 650, and the ultra-large Lineage 1000 jets.

The Phenom programs have received much attention over the last six years. The Phenom 100 was launched in 2005 and achieved full FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) certification in December 2008 with customer deliveries beginning the same month. Last year, 100 of these entry level jets were delivered and currently, there are over 200 Phenom 100 aircraft in service around the world.

The Phenom 300 has the largest cabin volume in the light jet category, comfortably accommodating up to ten occupants in an executive seating layout. Launched in 2005, the light jet began deliveries in December 2009 one year after the first Phenom 100 customers received their aircraft. In 2010, 26 light jet aircraft were delivered and currently there are over 40 Phenom 300 aircraft in service around the world. For more about Embraer Executive Jets, visit www.embraerexecutivejets.com
