Jet Aviation Brazil Receives Approval for Bonded Warehouse

Sorocaba, Brazil / July 28, 2011 – Jet Aviation Sorocaba received approval to establish a Bonded Warehouse. This will allow Jet Aviation to clear aircraft parts through customs 24/7 and will enhance the company’s ability to better support aircraft owners and operators in the region.

Jet Aviation Sorocaba recently attained approval for a Bonded Warehouse. The 3,000 sq ft (279 sq m) warehouse is located at the company’s maintenance and FBO operation in Sorocaba and has 24/7 security surveillance.Norbert Ehrich, senior vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation’s Sorocaba facility, says, “This approval helps us to better meet the growing parts support requirements of our customers by enabling provision of 24/7 customs clearance.”

Jet Aviation Sorocaba, Brazil, was established in 2009 and is located at Sorocaba Airport (SOD), some 87 kilometers (54 miles) from the city center of São Paulo. The location is an ANAC approved repair station for Gulfstream G200, GIV, G500 and G550 aircraft. The 2,229 square meter (24,000 sq ft) hangar facility, which includes a VIP lounge and private offices, has been fully remodeled to accommodate the maintenance business and offer hangar lease arrangements for business jets clients. Aircraft management and charter brokerage services are also available at the facility.
