West Star Aviation Welcomes New Director of Bombardier Programs

East Alton, IL, July 29, 2011 – West Star Aviation recently welcomed the newest addition to their team, George Laiten, as Director of Bombardier Programs. George will join the West Star Aviation Team in East Alton, Illinois, in the support of Bombardier Challenger and Global series aircraft maintenance, avionics interior, paint service and support.

George has an extensive background as both a Maintenance Technician with KC Aviation and as Senior Manager of Customer Support and MRO at Midcoast Aviation / Jet Aviation. In addition to his work experience, George is a licensed A&P Mechanic, Private Pilot, member of the Challenger Advisory Board, and a member of the Bombardier Industry Steering Committee.

In his new position, George will be responsible for expanding the Bombardier product line and complementing the success of the West Star Grand Junction facility. He will also focus on maintaining relationships with current customers and developing relationships with potential customers for West Star Aviation.
