StandardAero’s Omaha Service Center Completes First Line-Level Inspection under Recently Acquired Honeywell Line Service Authorization

StandardAero Business Aviation's Omaha regional service center has completed its first line level inspection of a Honeywell TFE731 engine since the acquisition of the Honeywell Line level Service Authorization this past June.

TEMPE, Ariz. – August 4, 2011 – StandardAero Business Aviation announced today that its Omaha, Neb., regional service center completed its first line level inspection of a Honeywell TFE731 engine since acquiring the Honeywell Line level Service Authorization this past June.

Technicians at StandardAero’s Omaha facility completed 150/250 hour and 300/400 hour engine inspections on all three engines on Falcon 50 for an Eppley Field-based corporate customer.

”It’s only been a little over a month since we acquired TFE731 Line Service Authorization from Honeywell and we’re already starting to see a rapid ramp up in our line level service work,” said Scott Taylor. “We recognized our customers’ need for a regional facility to perform this service and we provided the solution. Feedback from the customer validates our decision and supports our objective of providing customers with a convenient and speedy service alternative. The inspection was handled quickly and professionally; much to the delight of the customer.”

StandardAero’s Honeywell-authorized TFE731 line level service provides a critical support element for operators in the immediate area. StandardAero Omaha is a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved repair station pursuant to 14 C.F.R. Part 145. The Repair Station operates under a Class 4 rating.
