Everett, WA, August 11, 2011 — BLR Aerospace has named Líder Signature, SA of Brazil as a Dealer for its value- and performance-enhancing Winglet Systems. Under the terms of the agreement, Líder Signature, SA may sell and install BLR’s complete line of ANAC-certified Winglet Systems for Beechcraft King Air 90, 200 and 300 Series aircraft. Speak with Winglet product experts in BLR Exhibit 1027 at LABACE 2011, Aug. 11-13 in São Paulo.

“We are proud to be affiliated with Líder Signature, SA, a pioneer and global leader in the business aviation industry,” said Dave Marone, BLR vice president of Sales and Marketing. “This partnership significantly expands our reach in Brazil, where many King Air operators stand to benefit from Winglet installation.” Headquartered in Belo Horizonte, the growing company has more than 1,700 employees, 88 aircraft, and 25 locations across Brazil. In addition, Líder Signature, SA is a Hawker Beechcraft authorized service center. BLR’s King Air Winglets are standard factory equipment on all Hawker Beechcraft King Air 90 GTx aircraft and the new Hawker Beechcraft King Air 250. A popular aftermarket modification, more than 350 King Airs operate worldwide with BLR’s Winglet Systems.

Winglet Systems deliver an array of important benefits to King Air operators, including significant fuel savings. Depending on flight profile, these savings can range from 5 to 15 percent in climb and 2 to 4 percent in cruise for composite savings of 3 to 5 percent.

Winglet-equipped King Airs experience reduced drag that translates into measurably better fuel economy, as well as other performance improvements such as increased climb and cruise speeds, more responsive aerodynamic performance and stability, and safer low-speed handling qualities, especially during takeoffs and landings in short field operations. Winglets not only increase operational efficiency but also increase aircraft resale, since fuel-efficient planes are always in demand. Plus, Winglets deliver a 100 percent return on investment, according to data published in the Aircraft Blue Book.

In addition to ANAC certification, BLR’s entire portfolio of Winglet Systems is certified by the FAA and EASA.
