Dallas, Texas…August 19, 2011…The 8th Annual Latin American Business Aviation Conference and Exposition (LABACE) held August 11-13, 2011 in São Paulo turned out to be a busy one for Dallas Airmotive do Brasil with the signing of three contracts with Brasilian aircraft operators.

“The show was an overwhelming success for us,” commented Hugh McElroy, President of the BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul Group who was on hand for each of the signings involving TFE731, PW100 and PT6A turbine engines. “Our team in Brasil has done an outstanding job of creating a robust and highly integrated field and shop operations organization that is intensely customer focused and closely attuned to the needs of a broad spectrum of operators. While the three contract signings and the large volume of discussions with operators during the show are success indicators, the greater significance to us is the growing demand for what we can provide across many locations in South America. This increasing demand speaks loudly to us as to what services we can provide and where they are needed.”

Dallas Airmotive do Brasil, located in Belo Horizonte, opened in August 2009. “The demand for our services has outpaced our greatest expectations to the point that the company is adjusting its plans to accommodate increasing capacity,” continued McElroy. “We will work tirelessly to achieve this and provide the highest quality service to our corporate, government and military customers.”

Dallas Airmotive do Brasil is equipped to perform Major Periodic Inspections on TFE731, line maintenance on 36 series APUs, and line and hot section inspection services on PW100 and PT6A engines. The company also provides 24 hour field service support throughout South America. It is backed by one of the world’s largest and broadest networks engaged in the overhaul and repair of turbine engines.
